9:00 a.m. – Kids’ Sprints
9:30 a.m. – 5K Run / Walk

Great yearly event with fun Halloween themed Race Tech Shirt guaranteed for all pre-registrants. Kid’s 1 mile Monster Dash and Spooky Sprints also. Shirts are guaranteed to all 5K runners who register before October 15, 2019.

Event is sanctioned and course is certified by USATF.

Grab your spot on the sand or the island. Fireworks show will last approx. 20 minutes.
• This is a Cupsaw Lake member event open to all CLIA members and eligible guests (6 guests maximum per family). Please wear your badges.
• Parking lot is for CLIA members only and you must have your parking tag to access. Please one car per family.
• Members must be 18 years or older to sign in guests.
• Members under 12 years of age must be accompanied by a member 16 or older.
• No swimming, boats, kayaks, paddle boards permitted on the lake after 5pm.
• Turtle island off limits after 5pm.

Swim/Bike/Run Distances:

5/6 year old:          Swim to rope in shallow end; Bike 2 laps around parking lot circle; Run 1 lap.

7/8 year old:          25 meter swim, Bike 1 mile; Run ½ mile.

9/10 year old:        50 meter swim, Bike 2 miles; Run ½ mile.

11/12 year old:      50 meter swim, Bike 2 miles; Run 1 mile.

13/14 year old:      100 meter swim, Bike 3 miles; Run 1 mile.



  • ALL participants must wear a bike helmet on the course, including adults. NO EXCEPTIONS
  • All 7/8 years old participants must have an adult accompany them on the bike and run.
  • All participants must be at the lake at 10:00am to pick up their number, set up their bikes and get race instructions. Race will start at 11:00am sharp!

Swim/Bike/Run Distances:

5/6 year old:               Swim to rope in shallow end; Bike 2 laps around the parking lot circle; Run 1 lap.

9/10 year old:            50 meter swim, Bike 2 miles; Run ½ mile.

11/12 year old:          50 meter swim, Bike 2 miles; Run 1 mile.

13/14 year old:          100 meter swim, Bike 3 miles; Run 1 mile.



  • LEFT out of the Cupsaw Lake parking lot
  • RIGHT on Duffy
  • RIGHT on Kraft Place (*1/2 mile runners will turn around at intersection of Kraft & Walker)
  • LEFT on Hare and continue LEFT on Walker Drive
  • RIGHT on Kraft
  • LEFT on Duffy
  • LEFT on Cupsaw
  • RIGHT into Cupsaw Lake parking lot


** Each 1-mile loop is the entire loop as shown in the image. The kids come into the parking lot to turn around for the next loop (2 miles=2 loops, 3 miles=3 loops)**

**The ½ mile loop turns around at the corner of Walker & Kraft, shortly after turning onto Kraft. It will be clearly marked**
